Wintering over at Palmer Station was a defining time of my life. I leaned a lot about myself, about others and about the world.
I also collected a lot of correspondence (stuff) from that year so I could one day try to tell the story of  "a year on the Ice".

I collected the weekly situation reports that were sent back to Washington DC. They read like a journal of our adventure.
