The
dinning room at Palmer has an incredible
view. The room would often get too hot at
dinner time. We would open up the door to
patio and let in the fresh air. This was Xmas dinner 78. I'd been on station for only a few weeks. Putting on the 'show' was a real challenge for me. There is something very special about Xmas on The Ice. Everyone is away from home. Everyone brought their stories and parts of their traditions. I spent seven Charismas' on The Ice. |
