Herc in the morning

Waiting for a flight to Pole.. Planes didn't fly on schedules like they do in commercial airlines. Each flight was considered a "Mission". A mission was successful if it got there and back. It didn't matter how many hours or days latter the Mission  took place.
Willy field was made up of a series of mobile buildings (small, trailer like). "Pax Terminal" was the small box we were sent to, to wait for the mission. It was not un-common to wait around at Pax Terminal for 8 hours and then get sent back to Mac town to wait for the next window.
At least the view was nice!
